One-Year Anniversary + Giveaway!!!!

WOW. Has it really been ONE YEAR since I launched The Remnant last summer?! *throws confetti* Time has flown by, and I’m so grateful for what this blog has grown into and the blessing it has been to so many, myself included. *blows her nose loudly and wipes her tears*

Starting in January 2024, I brainstormed and planned to launch a devotional blog that would inspire teens and youth to live uncompromised lives for God. Fast forward a few months of researching, planning, praying, and writing, I officially launched The Remnant on July 16, 2024. You can read my introduction post here and my first devotional article, Three Ways to Praise God, here.

My original plan was to post every other week because I didn’t think that I would be able to keep up with posting weekly. But enthusiastic me decided to post weekly for a couple months until the blog got off the ground.

Turns out, I posted every week for almost a whole year!! Only by the grace of God was I able to do this, and I’m so thankful that He’s given me the inspiration and strength to do what I’ve done. All glory to Him!

A lot has happened in a year. I started this blog shortly after finishing my junior year of high school. I’m now a high school graduate! (😱) I didn’t know many of my followers outside of my family and friends. Now, I’ve established great relationships with many of you and also with fellow young bloggers, many of whom I’ve done guest posts or post swaps with.

Through the ups and downs, the seasons of fresh inspiration and the seasons of writer’s block, I’ve only grown in my relationship with Christ through what He’s taught me by blogging. There have been more than a few times when He’s even used my own devotionals to teach or remind me of something. (Now that is a truly humbling experience… haha)

The next year of blogging (Lord-willing) may look a bit different as my season of life changes. However, I still plan on writing what the Lord puts on my heart, praying it will be a blessing and encouragement to you.
