It’s Time to Pray

            As Canada’s federal election is quickly approaching, we Christians need to pray for our leaders and our country more than ever.

            Though most of us are likely not yet legal voting age (myself included), there is something perhaps even more powerful than casting a ballot that we can do: pray.

            In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God says, “’if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (NKJV).

            It’s no secret Canada needs healing. This is where we come in. Together, let’s pray that

• God’s will be done in our nation

• Whoever becomes the 25th Prime Minister will lead the nation strongly and away from wickedness

• God will grant the next Prime Minister wisdom and strength

• God will give Canadians wisdom to vote for the best candidate

• A revival of salvation, truth, and the Holy Spirit will reach every corner of this country from coast to coast to coast

• Whichever government that gets elected will always uphold the biblical foundations Canada was founded on

• God will protect Canada, especially from evil and wickedness, and return the heart of our nation back to Him

Remnant, we need to seek the Lord on behalf of this nation, especially as the election draws nearer. Will you join me?
